Premises Manager - Outstanding School - Liverpool

About the Role:
The Premises Manager will have overall responsibility for the school’s buildings, grounds, and facilities, ensuring smooth day-to-day operation and compliance with all health and safety regulations. Key responsibilities include:
Leading and managing the premises team, including caretakers and maintenance staff.
Overseeing maintenance, repairs, and improvements across the school site.
Managing contracts with external suppliers and contractors to ensure high-quality service delivery.
Monitoring health and safety compliance, including fire safety, risk assessments, and site security.
Supporting school events, including setup, logistics, and facility management.
Maintaining accurate records, logs, and reports related to premises management.
Acting as a point of contact for staff, visitors, and contractors regarding site-related issues.
Experience and Qualifications:
Proven experience in premises management, facilities, or building maintenance.
Knowledge of health and safety legislation and compliance.
Excellent organisational and leadership skills.
Practical skills in maintenance and facilities management.
Ability to work independently and lead a team effectively.
