Class 1 Driver – Container Work – Liverpool (Garston, L19)

Location: Liverpool, L19 (Garston)
Role: HGV Class 1 Driver (C+E)
Job Type: Ongoing / Full-Time Opportunities
Shifts: Monday to Friday (Days)
Start Times: Between 05:00 – 08:00

Pay Rates (PAYE – Including Holiday Pay)

• Weekdays: £22.41 per hour (£20.00 + holiday pay)
• Saturday: £22.97 per hour (£20.50 + holiday pay)
• Sunday / Bank Holidays: £30.26 per hour (£27.00 + holiday pay)

The Role – Class 1 Container Driver

We are currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 (C+E) Drivers for ongoing container work based in Liverpool (L19).

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a modern, well-maintained fleet, delivering containers safely and efficiently across ports, depots, and customer locations.

Duties include:

• Transporting containers to and from ports and customer sites
• Ensuring all loads are secured and compliant
• Completing daily vehicle checks and paperwork
• Working to scheduled delivery times
• Maintaining high standards of safety and professionalism

Requirements

• Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) Licence
• Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
• Valid Driver CPC (DQC Card)
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card
• Maximum 6 penalty points (no major endorsements such as DR, IN, TT)
• Previous container experience is essential
• Good knowledge of driver hours and regulations
• Reliable, professional, and flexible approach
