Overview
We are seeking a driven and commercially minded Sales Specialist to join a fast-paced financial services business. This role is focused on developing new business opportunities, managing broker relationships, and supporting the progression of lending enquiries from initial contact through to underwriting.

You will act as a key point of contact for brokers and clients, delivering a high level of service while identifying opportunities to grow the lending pipeline.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development & Sales
• Execute business development strategies to achieve and exceed targets
• Proactively generate new business through broker outreach and relationship management
• Manage inbound loan enquiries from brokers and direct clients
• Promote lending products and services to new and existing intermediaries
• Identify market opportunities using competitor analysis and customer feedback

Deal Management
• Conduct initial assessments of loan enquiries and gather relevant information
• Provide indicative terms and agreements in principle
• Progress enquiries to underwriting for full assessment
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records for all cases and interactions

Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers, clients, and internal teams
• Work closely with underwriting to ensure a smooth transition from enquiry to completion
• Collaborate with post-completions teams to support repeat business opportunities
• Represent the business at meetings, events, and exhibitions where required

Process Improvement & Support
• Contribute to the development and improvement of processes and product offerings
• Provide competitor insights and market feedback
• Support wider team initiatives and assist senior stakeholders as required
• Deliver training and support to colleagues across the sales function

Skills & Experience Required
• Experience in a sales, business development, or financial services role
• Strong understanding of lending, property finance, or bridging finance (desirable)
• Proven ability to build and manage client and broker relationships
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial information clearly
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and CRM systems

Desirable Experience
• Experience within bridging finance or specialist lending
• Background in a fast-paced financial services environment
• Exposure to working with brokers and intermediaries
