Trainee Assistant Branded Merchandiser
About the Role
As a Trainee Assistant Branded Merchandiser, you will support the Branded Merchandising team, working mainly with our dropship brands and managing key day to day tasks, such as setting up promotions, managing analysis reports and responding to any queries from our brands. You will work closely with our brands to deliver to best product, at the best price at the right time. You will work cross functionally to complete administrative tasks, including ecommerce and central planning, to help drive sales and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Day to day housekeeping including promotional set up, price management and late order chasing.
- Attend regular trade meetings alongside merch and buyer, collating minutes and actions to cascade.
- Keep key analysis reports up to date, ensuring information is accurate and flagging any anomalies to merchandiser.
- Keep trading calendar up to date with all agreed promotions and activity
- Monitor product availability through BI reporting and chase suppliers on any low stocked best selling lines, flagging risks to team.
- Attend ecomm daily stand ups and ensure Trello is up to date to make sure newness can be progressed on to site
- Daily site checks to make sure brands are represented correctly from an option and pricing perspective and that any promotions go live as expected.
- Matalan store visits – regular visits to ensure up to speed with wider business iniatives
- Create sound working relationships with other key functions across the business such as ecommerce, central planning & customer service
