The Role

The Caretaker plays a vital role in ensuring the school remains safe, secure and presented at its best for students, staff and visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

• Opening and closing the site, ensuring security of buildings and grounds

• Carrying out day-to-day maintenance, minor repairs and basic DIY

• Preparing rooms and facilities for lessons, events and lettings

• Monitoring the condition of the premises and reporting issues promptly

• Supporting contractors on site

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation

• Assisting with health & safety checks and compliance procedures
