Management Accountant
A duties and tasks for the Management Accountant:
- Prepare accurate management accounts and financial reports for internal stakeholders across multiple business areas
- Act as a finance partner to operational teams, supporting budget holders through regular reviews and performance meetings
- Lead on annual budget setting and in year budget management, including forecasts and variance analysis
- Develop and maintain meaningful performance and KPI reporting
- Support the preparation of statutory accounts and provide audit schedules for internal and external audit
- Provide clear, professional financial advice to a wide range of internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to longer term financial planning and business modelling
- Support tax and VAT reporting and planning activities
- Ensure strong financial controls, systems and processes are in place and continuously improved
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure data quality, asset accounting accuracy and compliance
- Uphold financial governance, regulatory compliance and risk management standards
