Cover Supervisors - Across Liverpool (L1-L38)

We are recruiting Cover Supervisors to support secondary schools across the entire Liverpool. We offer both day to day and long term opportunities.

We have vacancies in schools across all areas of Liverpool:

• South Liverpool: Aigburth, Childwall, Allerton, Woolton, and Garston (L15-L19).
• North Liverpool: Anfield, Walton, Fazakerley, Everton, and West Derby (L4-L12).
• City Centre & Inner City: Toxteth, Kensington, and the Knowledge Quarter (L1-L8).
• East Liverpool & Suburbs: Broadgreen, Old Swan, and Huyton borders (L13-L14/L36).

Duties:

• Deliver pre-set work provided by the absent teacher to the students.
• Manage classroom behaviour using the school's positive behaviour policy.
• Ensure a safe environment where students can work independently and stay on task.
• Take accurate registers to ensure all students are accounted for.
• Support student queries by helping them understand the instructions provided.
• Maintain classroom tidiness and ensure all resources are returned at the end of the hour.
• Safeguard students by following the school's health and safety and welfare protocols.
• Provide brief handovers for the returning teacher so they know how the lesson went.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in any subject.
• Previous experience working in Education or similar role.
• Enhanced Child DBS (or willingness to apply).
