Requirements:

• Qualified: HLTA status, Level 4, or a very experienced Level 3 educator.
• SEN Background: Real-world experience in a specialist school or SEN provision.
• DBS: An Enhanced DBS (or the willingness to get one sorted today!).

Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver pre-prepared lessons and learning activities to whole classes or small groups in the absence of the teacher.
• Provide targeted 1:1 and small group interventions for students with Education, Health, and Care Plans.
• Implement positive behaviour strategies and foster a calm, safe, and stimulating learning environment.
• Work closely with the SENCO and Class Teachers to adapt the curriculum for students with diverse learning requirements.
• Assess and record pupil progress, providing vital feedback to staff and parents during review meetings.
