Research Assistant: evaluating the impact of a Health and Housing pilot project

The project aims to evaluate the impact of a Health and Housing pilot project, a collaboration between PRIMA Housing Group and the NHS, from both a tenant and staff perspective. PRIMA and the NHS have been testing new ways of working together, such as sharing relevant information more quickly, coordinating support, and reaching out to tenants whose health may be affected by their living situation. This evaluation explores how bringing housing and health data together affects tenants’ everyday lives and how staff experience delivering the project.
Duties and responsibilities
You will speak with tenants one to one about their experiences and expectations of the project. You will also interview staff who participated in delivering the programme to understand operational strengths, challenges and opportunities. Findings will inform future practice, help target improvements to where they matter most, and support healthier, more resilient communities. The findings will contribute to a broader understanding of the intersection between housing and health, informing policy and practice beyond the immediate context of PRIMA Housing Group.
Skills and experience
Key elements of the include leading the following tasks under supervision from the academic team:
• Interviewing tenants and staff to explore their experiences of the project.
• Analysis of qualitative data and preparation of a detailed evaluation report highlighting findings and recommendations.
• Supporting disseminating findings through reports and presentations
