The Opportunity

Due to continued growth, we are seeking a high-calibre Associate – Mechanical Services to join our leadership team.

This is a senior, leadership-focused role where you will:

* Lead and deliver complex MEP design projects

* Mentor and develop junior engineers

* Build and maintain strong client relationships

* Play a key role in business growth and strategic direction

* Contribute to the commercial success of the consultancy

Key Responsibilities

* Lead mechanical (MEP) design projects from concept through to completion

* Provide technical leadership and oversight on engineering calculations and design work

* Manage project teams and mentor junior staff

* Develop and maintain client relationships

* Ensure high standards of communication across internal and external stakeholders

Desired Skills & Experience

* Strong background in MEP / Mechanical Building Services Design

* Proficiency in engineering calculations and industry software (AutoCAD, Revit, IES)

* Excellent leadership, mentoring, and communication skills

* Proven ability to lead projects and manage client relationships

* Minimum 10+ years’ experience in a relevant role

* Chartered Engineer status (or working towards)

Qualifications

* MEng / BEng / HND / HNC

* MCIBSE or FCIBSE (desirable)

Working Arrangements

* Hybrid working model

* Office-based with one day per week working from home

* Flexible WFH days (Tuesday–Thursday only)
