Marketing - Data Steward

About your new role Main purpose of the role

• As a data steward you will be part of the marketing team to the implement data management framework across the organisations. You will manage governed data within the Marketing team, while ensuring the highest level of data quality, consistency, accuracy, and reliability through policies, standards, and procedures. You will also be responsible for understanding data usage, standards, and quality for critical data.
• Support the marketing team in providing a proactive resource which delivers real value to the firm.

Key responsibilities

• Administer the ticket centres for SDP and CRM.
• Data cleansing - identifying, assessing and resolving any data quality issues, dealing with the CRM data cleansing projects.
• Providing ad-hoc support/training to ensure that best practice is followed.
• Responsible for data quality across the firm in all applications
• Resolve identified data breaches/errors with end users.
• Validating data – ensuring users are complying with data quality expectation.
• Manage address alerts and monitor users across the firm and report to Data manager.
• Validating new client data and raising issues with the data manager and/or Partners
• Advising communications and business development teams on targeting and IA search engine to achieve best results.
• Data protection knowledge and application.
• Manage new contact promotion within InterAction.
• Running exception reports and duplication checks on data held in Mattersphere and InterAction.
• Building relationships with Partners, fee earners, secretarial and management teams to ensure that it becomes ‘best practice’ to update the CRM.
• Carrying out any other tasks that fall within the aspects of the role or the wider team.

About You

You will have previous experience and a genuine and demonstrable interest in the above area of work.
We also require you to have/be:

• Keen eye for details
• Conscientious and highly motivated
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft word, excel, outlook.Specific training will be provided on InterAction and Mattersphere
• Well developed time management skills
• High understanding of data confidentiality
• Ability to work in a busy environment
• Good communication skills to work with all levels of personnel across the firm
• Knowledge of latest data protection regulation, guidance and best practice and experience in practically applying.
Flexible – the role will be based in Liverpool, but the individual will be required to spend time in other Weightmans offices as and when required.
