Working Hours: Average 54 hours per week

Shift Pattern: Week 1: Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (Nights – 19:00-7:00)

Week 2: Tuesday & Wednesday (Nights – 19:00-7:00) and Saturday & Sunday 9Days – 7:00-19:00)

Pay: £12.21 per hour

Location: Tobacco Warehouse - Stanley Dock, Regent Road, Liverpool, Merseyside, L3 0AN

Reporting to: Operations Manager

Overview

An exciting opportunity has arisen at Anchor Group Services, for an experienced Security Officer to join our established security team based at Tobacco Warehouse in Liverpool City Centre.

The successful candidate must have a valid SIA Licence as a minimum. You will be required to provide a high level of customer service to visitors to the site, complete patrols and remain vigilant at all times.

Duties include:

• Protecting the client’s property, people and/or assets by providing security services in direct accordance with the sites published Assignment Instructions (AI’s) and site-specific procedures
  
• Preventing losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing offenders of policy and procedures
  
• Preventing and escalating incidents in a timely, accurate and appropriate manner to the Control Room/ Shift Manager/Operations Manager/Emergency Services as appropriate for serious incidents
  
• Completing reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities
  
• Maintaining organisation's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements
  
• Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  
• Acting as a first line support to customers and visitors to site, providing a professional and friendly service
  
• Understanding the needs of our customer, respond accordingly to customer queries and requests and take appropriate action
  
• Carrying out basic cleaning duties as required to maintain a safe, clean, and presentable environment within designated areas
  
• Maintaining professional conduct at all times
  

Requirements

• Full 5-year employment checkable history
  
• Valid frontline SIA licence DS or SG
  
• Customer Service experience and confidence to handle conflict in a correct manner
  
• Flexible to meet the job requirements
  
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  
• Smart appearance and be well-groomed
  
• Reliable and punctual
  
• High level of enthusiasm and passion
  
• Ability to work in a fast-moving environment
