Precision Centre Lathe Turner
Previous experience in using steadies and grinding precision pump shafts up to 4m in lenght
Ability to work from detailed engineering drawings
Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 Quality Systems
Previous experience with machining of exotic metals (super duplex, duplex, 718, x 750, Hastelloy, Monel etc)
Experience machining exotic metals(e,g super duplex, duplex, 718 x 750, Hastelloy, Monel)
Previous experience in a similar role (2 years min)
Strong planning and organising skills
Effective communication with peers and management
Attention to detailPreferred:- Previous experience in finish turning multi-stage pump shafts
Other skills within a subcontract machine shop
Production of valve and pump components
Serving the Nuclear, Defence, Oil, Gas, Fluid and power generation sectors
Proficient in Office 365 and ERP Systems39 hours a week + overtime Single days - Mon-Thurs (Apply online only) - Friday (Apply online only) Salary DOE
