Acoustic Technician
Acoustic Technician Location: Liverpool Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 DOE I’m working with a well-established and highly respected UK acoustic consultancy that is looking to expand its team with the addition of an Acoustic Technician. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with hands-on experience in sound insulation testing who enjoys a predominantly site-based role, with the flexibility to transition into more remote working overtime. The Company This consultancy has built a strong reputation across the UK for delivering high-quality acoustic services across residential and commercial developments. The Role This position will be primarily site-based (around 80%), with the remainder of your time spent in the Liverpool office or working remotely (once established in the role). You’ll play a key role in delivering acoustic testing services on live projects. Key responsibilities include: Carrying out sound insulation testing in line with relevant standards Setting up and assisting with acoustic surveys Preparing and calibrating testing equipment Liaising with site teams and clients during visits Supporting the wider acoustics team with project delivery Requirements Some practical experience in sound insulation testing (essential) Good understanding of acoustic testing procedures and standards Full UK driving licence Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently on site Excellent communication skills when dealing with clients and contractors Benefits Flexitime with the opportunity to take up to 2 extra days off per month Company vehicle Company pension Ongoing training and development Clear career progression opportunities within a growing consultancy Why Apply?
