Key Duties:

• Supervise Work: Ensure students complete the pre-prepared tasks set by the absent teacher.
• Behaviour Management: Maintain a calm and productive learning environment following the school's behaviour policy.
• Student Support: Assist pupils with queries and keep them on task.
• Safety & Welfare: Ensure the health and safety of students throughout the lesson.
• Reporting: Provide brief feedback to the school on student progress and any issues encountered.

Requirements:

• Experience: Previous experience working with children or young people (coaching, youth work, or classroom support) is preferred.
• Attributes: A calm, authoritative presence and the ability to adapt to different subjects and school environments.
• Compliance: You must hold or be willing to apply for an Enhanced DBS check and have the right to work in the UK.
