We are looking for:

• Qualified Teacher Status: QTS, ECT, or equivalent.
• Someone with knowledge in Resistant Materials, Systems, or Product Design.
• Strong classroom management skills to keep the workshop focused.
• Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willing to apply).

Key Duties:

• Deliver high-quality DT lessons across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
• Manage and maintain all workshop machinery, tools, and CAD/CAM equipment.
• Inspire students to solve real-world problems through innovative design.
• Ensure every lesson follows strict Health & Safety and COSHH regulations.
• Track student progress and provide constructive feedback that builds confidence.
• Prepare students for success in their GCSE and vocational practical exams.
• Collaborate with the department to refresh and modernise the curriculum.
• Foster a tidy, respectful, and high-functioning environment for all "makers."
