Health & Safety Administrator

Role Overview:
Provide crucial administrative support within our Health, Safety, Quality and Environmental team. Focusing on supporting day-to-day operations, managing communications, assisting with data inputting, compliance tracking and support with delivering effective HSQE processes and site audits.
Key Responsibilities:
Collate, input, and generate SHEQ data reports and performance metrics
Upload PPE, certificates, inductions, incident records into internal HSQE management system
Assist in organising HSQE training—scheduling, coordinating materials, participant tracking
Support internal/external audits and prepare documentation, assist with audit evidence and follow‑up actions
Support with mandatory training via the Sureserve Online academy
Track, manage and maintain all competency checks and training via the training matrix
Maintaining the matrix in regard to plant/equipment issued to employees
Manage agendas, support with note taking, arrange meetings and appointments and provide reminders
Skills & Experience
Prior experience in an administrative role, or similar function—ideally in utilities, gas, or housing industry .
Knowledge of H&S processes and procedures (desirable)
Experience working with within SHEQ, HSE, HSEQ administration role (desirable)
Proficient with Microsoft Packages (Outlook, Word, Excel) and database/IMS’ and data entry systems
Excellent organisational skills, interpersonal skills and communication skills, confident communicating with internal colleagues and external customers
Attention to detail and able to manage own time effectively and prioritise moving deadlines
