Veterinary Surgeon - Vacancy- large team Liverpool
My client with a large practice in Liverpool is offering an excellent opportunity for an experienced and customer-focused Veterinary Surgeon to join its growing team. This role would suit a clinician with a few years’ experience who is passionate about delivering outstanding clinical care alongside exceptional customer service. The position is full time, worked across three or four days per week, with participation in a one-in-four weekend rota.
The practice is ideally seeking a Veterinary Surgeon with a particular interest in medicine or diagnostic imaging, although applications from vets with a broad general practice background are very welcome. The successful candidate will be involved in providing preventative healthcare, diagnosing and treating sick or injured pets and actively promoting lifelong pet wellbeing. Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach are essential, as the role involves working closely with both clinical and non-clinical colleagues as part of a supportive, multidisciplinary team.
This is a modern, purpose-built and spacious veterinary practice with excellent facilities and a strong emphasis on teamwork. The team is made up of passionate professionals with a wide range of clinical interests, many of whom are working towards further qualifications and certificates to enhance the services offered. Continuous professional development is actively encouraged at all levels, with ongoing initiatives in place to support skill development and ensure colleagues feel confident, valued and well supported in their roles.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive practice where high clinical standards, collaboration and colleague wellbeing sit at the heart of everything they do.
In return, they offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits package designed to support both professional development and personal wellbeing. This includes quarterly bonus payments, enhanced maternity and paternity pay, income protection and access to an electric car scheme. Colleagues also benefit from a wide range of employee discounts, Help at Hand support for health and wellbeing, funded professional memberships, surgery discounts and a generous CPD allowance. Annual leave entitlement includes 25 days plus bank holidays, alongside access to internal leadership training for those looking to progress their careers.
