Veterinary Surgeon – Full or Part Time – Merseyside Area
Salary up to £60,000 DOE • No OOH • Flexible rota
A fantastic opportunity for an experienced Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join a friendly, supportive, and ambitious team at a modern first-opinion clinic in the Merseyside region, UK. This role is ideal for someone looking to progress clinically while enjoying excellent work–life balance.
The Opportunity
You’ll be joining an experienced and collaborative clinical team with a strong mix of first-opinion, referral, and charity backgrounds. The nursing team brings decades of collective experience, and the client care team is highly skilled at supporting both clients and clinicians.
This is an environment that genuinely values growth. You will have access to extensive CPD, funded certificates, and a clear clinical development pathway.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality small animal veterinary care
- Confidently perform routine surgeries and medical work-ups
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
- Contribute positively to a supportive team culture
- Optional focus on developing surgical skills
What We’re Looking For
- A Veterinary Surgeon with solid first-opinion experience
- Confident with routine surgery and consultations
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Interest in developing clinical expertise, including certificates
Role & Rota
- Full or part-time options available
- 1 in 4 Saturdays on a shared rota
- No out-of-hours
- Supportive team and flexible working arrangements
