Key Responsibilities
As a KS2 Teacher, you will be expected to:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons across the KS2 curriculum
Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of SEND, EAL, and high-achieving pupils
Promote a positive, safe, and inclusive classroom environment
Monitor pupil progress and implement interventions as required
Encourage pupils’ personal development, social skills, and independence
Communicate effectively with parents, colleagues, and external agencies
Collaborate with teaching assistants and multi-disciplinary teams
Contribute to school development initiatives, curriculum planning, and enrichment programs
Uphold professional standards and adhere to all safeguarding policies
Person Specification
We are looking for a candidate who:
Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has prior experience teaching Years 3–6
Demonstrates strong classroom management skills
Has experience supporting SEND and EAL learners
Is enthusiastic, creative, adaptable, and committed to inclusion
Possesses excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities
Is committed to continuous professional development
Desirable qualities:
Experience leading a subject area or school project
Familiarity with digital learning platforms
Participation in extracurricular or enrichment activities
