Your Duties:

• Planning and delivering engaging English lessons for KS3 and KS4.
• Marking student work and providing helpful feedback.
• Managing classroom behaviour to keep students focused and safe.
• Preparing students for their GCSE English exams.
• Following school policies to ensure every child makes progress.
• Communicating effectively with the department head and parents.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
• A background in English Literature or Language.
• Experience teaching in a UK Secondary School setting.
• The ability to adapt your teaching style to suit different learner needs.
• An enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to get one).
