Cover Supervisors Needed | Liverpool Secondary Schools

We are recruiting Cover Supervisors for secondary schools across Liverpool. This is a great way to work in education without the pressure of planning or marking!

This role is ideal for graduates, sports coaches, or anyone looking to gain classroom experience without the responsibility of planning or marking.

• Daily Rate: £90 - £95 (Paid weekly).
• Sector: Secondary Education (KS3 & KS4).
• Location: All areas across Liverpool.

Duties:

• Supervise students in the classroom while they complete pre-set work.
• Manage student behaviour effectively to maintain a productive environment.
• Support students with their tasks and answer any general questions.
• Collect completed work at the end of the lesson for the department.
• Ensure all school safeguarding and safety policies are followed.

Skills Needed:

• Experience working with groups of young people (coaching, youth work, etc.).
• Strong Communication: Ability to give clear instructions to large groups of students.
• Classroom Management: Staying calm and assertive to maintain a focused environment.
• Adaptability: The ability to move between different subjects and year groups throughout the day.
• Problem Solving: Thinking on your feet to help students overcome barriers to their work.
• A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one).
