About The Role Salary £12.71 per hour Join Our Team as a Teaching Assistant Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Cavendish School in Liverpool is seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to support pupils aged 5–11. Previous experience working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be ideal and also experience working in a school environment Your Role Will Include: Supporting the class teacher to deliver high-quality, inclusive education tailored to individual student needs. Providing one-to-one or small group support to help students access the curriculum and develop independence. Assisting in creating a stimulating and well-organised classroom environment suited to learners with ASC, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), and complex needs. Helping students manage sensory needs by implementing sensory diets and self-regulation strategies, guided by the professional team. Supporting the development of life skills and independence, which may include aspects of personal care.Our Core Values:
