My client, a growing manufacturer in the Northwest has an exciting opportunity for a motivated and technically minded Mechanical Design Engineer. Working within this well-established company you will be responsible for design across the full product life cycle. The company is experiencing a continued increase in business, and this is an exciting opportunity for the successful candidate to join a position with long term development opportunities.

Role & Responsibilities

• Cradle to grave product design
• Assembling prototypes, testing, logging data correctly and reviewing
• Creation of design specifications
• Liaise with other R&D/Marketing/Production Departments
• Create BOM lists
• Report on Project progress

Required Skills & Experience

• Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering
• Working knowledge of Engineering Design System (3D CAD)
• Specific experience with 3D Solidworks is advantageous
• Knowledge of MS Project or similar
• Worked within design for manufacture and assembly
