Computer Science Teacher – Full Time (All Girls’ Secondary School, Liverpool)

An established all-girls secondary school in the Liverpool area is looking to appoint a passionate, fully qualified Computer Science Teacher to join its highly committed teaching team. The school is known for its calm, nurturing environment and strong academic standards, proudly holding a Good Ofsted rating. Students are enthusiastic, well-behaved, and motivated by teachers who bring strong subject expertise and high expectations to the classroom.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated educator to deliver high-quality Computer Science teaching across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, helping students excel and reach their full potential.

Key Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and well-structured Computer Science lessons across KS3 and KS4.
Maintain high expectations for behaviour, engagement, and academic progress.
Use effective behaviour management strategies to uphold the school’s strong culture of respect and positive conduct.
Support departmental development and contribute to the ongoing improvement of the curriculum.
Regularly assess student work and provide meaningful, constructive feedback.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, contributing to the school’s supportive and values-driven environment.

Person Specification

Essential

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Computer Science at Key Stage 4.
Strong subject knowledge with the ability to motivate and inspire learners.
Confident behaviour management skills and a commitment to maintaining high classroom standards.
A passion for empowering young women to achieve in Computer Science.

Desirable

Previous experience in an all-girls school.
Knowledge of GCSE Computer Science curriculum and assessment requirements.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
