We're recruiting on behalf of a respected and long-established independent accountancy practice to appoint an experienced and strategically minded Audit Partner (RI) in their Liverpool office. This is a key leadership role with real influence and long-term progression potential, forming part of the firm's wider succession planning.

The role involves overseeing a varied portfolio of audits across a diverse client base, including SMEs, academies, and local authorities. Some offices manage smaller audits, while others deliver more complex engagements, making this an ideal opportunity for someone seeking a broad and stimulating workload. Candidates from medium-sized firms will likely find the transition seamless, while those from larger practices may value the wider scope and hands-on nature of the role.

The successful candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with RI status and a strong technical grounding in UK audit. Significant experience operating at Director or Partner level within a UK practice is essential, along with the ability to lead teams, build strong client relationships, and contribute to ongoing practice development.
