Are you a Supply Chain Manager looking for an opportunity to make a significant impact on cultural change in an innovative and rapidly growing SME manufacturer?

Reporting to the CEO this is a newly created role where you will be autonomously responsible for creating and executing the supply chain strategy. You will lead a small team to manage the full end-to-end supply chain for the business (purchasing, customer service, planning and logistics), putting in best practice and creating an effective operation. Key to this will be the leadership of a successful MRP implementation.
THE SUCCESSFUL APPLICANT
- Proven track record as a successful supply chain manager: preferably with earlier career experience in a wold class environment, prior to then taking what you have learnt and implemented change in a SME.
- Good understanding of supply chain processes and their interdependencies
- Understanding of supplier relationships and some experience of working with suppliers
- Strong IT systems knowledge and skills including advanced Excel skills
- Knowledge and experience of using MRP systems (ideally Syspro)
- Knowledge of lean techniques may be advantageous
- Significant exposure to a “change environment” and conversant with managing and supporting people through change
- Implementation of ERP/MRP into a business – preferably as a lead, or major support to lead implementer.
