HGV Technician

Our client, a reputable dealership specialising in commercial vehicle maintenance, is seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join their team in Liverpool.

Carrying out maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on all types of commercial vehicles, including HGVs, buses, and coaches
Performing fault diagnosis and testing to ensure vehicles are operating safely and in compliance with regulations
Completing all repair documentation accurately and efficiently as an HGV Technician
Collaborating closely with the workshop team and reporting to the shift supervisor
Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in all work undertaken
Ensuring compliance with health and safety procedures at all timesRequirements:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working as an HGV Technician within a main dealer environment
Level 2 qualification in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance (City & Guilds or NVQ)
Current IRTEC accreditation is essential
Proven experience working on HGVs, buses, or coaches
Strong diagnostic and technical skills
Reliable, detail-oriented, and capable of working independently or as part of a team
