Group Category Manager
What the successful Group Category Manager will be expected to do:
- Develop and implement category strategies to maximise value and efficiency.
- Identify and build strong relationships with key suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
- Analyse market trends and supplier performance to inform decision-making.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align procurement activities with business goals.
- Negotiate contracts and manage supplier agreements in line with company policies.
- Monitor and report on category performance, ensuring continuous improvement.
- Support sustainability initiatives within procurement practices.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members as required.
