What you need:

• Proven experience as an LSA or TA in a secondary school setting.
• A valid DBS on the update service (or be willing to apply for one).
• Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude.
• Classroom and behaviour management.

Key Duties:

• Work with students in small groups to improve their understanding of the curriculum.
• Help students break down complex instructions and stay focused on their learning goals.
• Assist the class teacher with maintaining a focused and productive classroom environment.
• Lead small intervention sessions to boost progress in core subjects like English and Maths.
• Act as a reader or scribe for students during school assessments and mock exams.
• Support students in staying organised and managing their classroom equipment.
• Monitor student engagement and provide the teacher with feedback on their progress.
• Ensure all students are following the school's behaviour and safety policies.
