Residential Support Worker – Children’s Residential Home (Maghull)

Full-Time | Permanent | Brand-New 3-Bed Home

Salary: £13 per hour (plus £70 per sleep)

Flora Care Solutions provides specialist therapeutic residential care for children with Autism, ADHD and learning difficulties. As a growing organisation, we are proud to open a beautiful new 3-bed children’s home in Maghull and are seeking compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to join our team.

Our leadership team has a strong background in achieving positive outcomes with Ofsted, and we provide comprehensive training and development to support your career growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care and support to children and young people.
• Assist with daily routines, personal care, meal preparation, and educational support.
• Safeguard young people in line with organisational policies.
• Build positive and trusting relationships with children, families, and professionals.
• Support children in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Contribute to a stable and nurturing home environment.
• Develop and follow individual care plans.
• Maintain accurate records and reports.
• Drive children to appointments and activities (if applicable).
• Participate in sleep-in duties as part of the rota.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 years’ experience supporting young people in a children’s residential or similar setting.
• Full UK Manual Driving Licence (preferred).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Basic IT skills for record-keeping.
• Understanding of child development and care planning.
• Compassion, resilience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference.
