The Role
The school is seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Music Technician to support the music department. This role is essential in ensuring that lessons, rehearsals and performances run smoothly.
You will work closely with teaching staff and students, providing technical and administrative support across a range of musical activities.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain musical instruments and equipment
Support lessons, rehearsals and performances
Manage recording equipment and studio resources
Assist with concerts, productions and school events
Maintain inventory and organise resources
Provide technical support for music technology
Ensure health and safety procedures are followed
Requirements
Experience working with music equipment and technology
Knowledge of sound systems and recording software
Strong organisational skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
A passion for music and supporting young people
Good communication skills
