About the Role

As a KS2 Teacher, you will deliver dynamic lessons across the KS2 curriculum , catering to pupils of varying abilities, including those with SEND and EAL needs. Key Responsibilities
The KS2 Teacher will be responsible for:
Planning and delivering engaging lessons across all KS2 subjects
Differentiating teaching to meet the needs of SEND, EAL, and high-achieving pupils
Maintaining a safe, supportive, and structured classroom environment
Tracking pupil progress, analysing assessment data, and implementing interventions as needed
Encouraging positive behaviour, independence, and social development
Communicating effectively with parents and carers regarding pupil progress
Contributing to extracurricular activities, school events, and enrichment programs
Collaborating with colleagues, teaching assistants, and leadership to improve teaching and learning standards
Supporting school initiatives, including literacy, numeracy, wellbeing, and digital learning strategies
Upholding professional standards and school policies at all times
Person Specification
The ideal candidate will:
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have experience teaching Years 3–6 in a primary school setting
Be confident in classroom management with a positive, proactive approach
Have experience differentiating lessons for SEND and EAL pupils
Be enthusiastic, adaptable, and passionate about primary education
Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Be committed to fostering a love of learning among pupils
Desirable skills:
Experience in leading a subject area or project
Knowledge of digital learning platforms and technology-enhanced teaching
Ability to contribute to extracurricular clubs and enrichment programs
Familiarity with national assessment frameworks and reporting
