About the Role
Bluestones Medical Agency is currently seeking experienced and dedicated Scrub Nurses to join our team for ongoing agency shifts at Liverpool Women's . This is an excellent opportunity for skilled theatre nurses who are passionate about delivering high-quality patient care within a dynamic surgical environment.

As a Scrub Nurse, you will play a vital role in supporting surgical teams, ensuring procedures run safely and efficiently while maintaining the highest standards of patient care and infection control.

Key Responsibilities

* Prepare operating theatres and ensure all surgical instruments and equipment are sterile and ready for procedures.

* Scrub in and assist surgeons during operations.

* Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.

* Anticipate the needs of surgeons and theatre staff during operations.

* Ensure accurate handling and counting of surgical instruments, swabs, and needles.

* Support patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.

* Work collaboratively with surgeons, anaesthetists, and theatre staff.

* Maintain accurate patient records and adhere to hospital policies and clinical guidelines.

Requirements

* Registered Nurse with valid NMC registration .

* Proven experience working as a Scrub Nurse.

* Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques.

* Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary theatre team.

* Excellent communication and organisational skills.

* Flexibility to work agency shifts as required.
