Cover Supervisor

I am working with a secondary school in the Liverpool area that requires an engaging Cover Supervisor for a role starting asap. The role is to work within a school setting in which work will be provided and you will use it to deliver the lesson. The daily rate for this role is from £100 – £130 per day. Pay rate is dependant on level of qualifications, experience and additional training. Advertised rate of pay is inclusive of holiday pay.

The ideal Cover Supervisor will have an outgoing personality and will maintain a high standard of classroom management, in order to keep students on task. This is an excellent opportunity to gain experience working in a school environment.

Responsibilities of the Cover Supervisor

• Deliver secondary subjects to ages 11-16;
• Demonstrate strong classroom management and cover teaching using available resources within the classroom;
• Promote and push the students to achieve the expectations set in the absence of the teacher.

To be considered for this position of Cover Supervisor you must have:

• Experience of group management of 11-18 year olds;
• Excellent and proven behaviour management experience;
• Shown commitment to learning and development of pupils;
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with staff and students.
