The role:
Liverpool Adult Learning Service have an exciting opportunity for an inspirational Curriculum Leader for English, Maths and Digital to join our dedicated team and deliver high quality courses in a variety of settings across the city.
This is an exciting time to join a team that is highly valued. Ofsted in September 2023 judged the service as Good overall effectiveness, with Outstanding behaviour and attitudes and personal development, stating “Learners at Liverpool City Council thrive in a highly inclusive culture.”

The Service provides vocational and community learning, employability, and wellbeing courses alongside English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), English, Maths and Digital skills for adults who are 19+.
This is an opportunity to develop experience in:
- Curriculum management and leadership
- Continuous quality improvement and performance management
- Curriculum planning
- Staff line management
- Internal Quality Assurance
There will be a need for flexibility around working hours, including evenings and weekends.
